Simply put, without donations there would be no WHSO!
In the 2015-2016 school year, we will be sending about 100 students and physicians students to Haiti, Ecuador and Nicaragua. From December to July, we hope to serve over 3,000 deserving patients. To cover all the costs for supplies, medications, and care, we must raise $30,000 this year. Thanks to the generous support and contributions from our friends, family, hospitals, local businesses, corporations, and the Wayne State University School of Medicine Alumni Association, we are able to carry out our mission of making a medically profound global impact.
If you are interested in making a non-tax-deductible donation, please make checks payable to WHSO. If you would like to make a donation to the organization as a whole, please write WHSO Medicine Acquisition Fund on the memo line. If you would like to sponsor the trip of a particular student, please write the student’s name and the destination of the trip on the memo line. (example: John Doe/Panama)
If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation, please make checks payable to The Fund for Medical Research Education, with WHSO on the memo line.
